My story begins with a general love for language and the written word. This led me to coming out of university with a BA (Hons) degree in Journalism, followed by landing my first job as a junior copywriter at a fashion e-tailer in London.
Working alongside some of the biggest and most talented names in the industry, including former fashion editors and commercially-minded souls, I quickly learnt the tricks of the trade, as well as how the commercial world can’t exist without creativity. Suddenly, my way for words had a place in the crazy corporate world. It had a purpose.
The years that followed saw me hone my craft further and further by working with many companies, both in-house and freelance. From heading up all menswear content at renowned British brand Reiss, to contributing features and blog posts to websites all over the world, my words became my weapons. And these weapons translated into high open-rates and sales. Win.
